Training is some of the most important work that we do as we try to tell people about the Alpha Course and provide help and advice for those who would like to run a course in their church or local setting. Training can be imparted in a number of different ways, including a two day Alpha Conference such as the Global Chinese Alpha Conference in Hong Kong in April 2007 and special one day sessions run by volunteers trained by AAP.

The one day sessions are developed with a sensitivity to the context in which it is being given, taking into account the local cultural or denominational setting.

We are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to provide this training and hope to be able to provide some helpful internet solutions in the near future.

Other Support for the National Offices :

The regional development team also supports the Directors and staff working in the National Alpha Offices with matters such as setting their strategic direction, overcoming any challenges and managing their operational budgets.
